New cruise holidays from Bristol launched by Newmarket Travel business

From Iceland down to Portugal and across to the Caribbean, a new range of cruises available from Bristol have been launched.

And Newmarket Travel, the tour operator running the holidays, are offering a “buy one get one free” deal on any cruises booked before August 31.

One of them, the Spectacular Northern Lights Cruise, will leave Avonmouth on February 26, 2015.

Passengers will cruise north on the MV Azores towards Norway, in search of the amazing spectacle of the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights.

That cruise, which lasts for 16 days, will see the Azores dock in seven ports (Trondheim, Narvik, Alta, Honningsvaag, Tromso, Andalsnes and Bergen).

Other cruises on offer – all between January and June next year and operated by Cruise Maritime – include a trip to the South of the Iberian peninsula to visit Portugal and Seville, a cruise Iceland, the land of fire and ice, and a chance to see springtime in the sub-tropical Azores islands.

You can also travel to the Scottish Highlands, and also go on a 30-day holiday to the West Indies.

The 160,000-tonne Azores can transport 550 guests, meaning although she’s impressive to look at, a cruise on board is an intimate experience.

The shop can boast restaurants, a nightclub, cinema and casino. You’ll also find a library, shops fitness centre and outdoor pool on board.
