Loews to operate Caribbean-themed hotel at Universal Orlando

Loews Hotels Resorts will open a 1,000-room hotel at the Universal Orlando Resort during the summer of 2016.

Inspired by the rivers and waterfalls of the Caribbean, the Loews Sapphire Falls will feature a pool with waterslide, sand beach, fire pit and children’s play area in a central courtyard.

There will be water taxi and shuttle access to all of the dining and entertainment options throughout Universal Orlando Resort.

Loews operates four other hotels at Universal Orlando with a total of 4,200 guestrooms: Loews Portofino Bay, Loews Royal Pacific, Cabana Bay Beach and Hard Rock at Universal Orlando.
