Man Overboard! Disney Cruise Rescues Royal Caribbean Passenger from Ocean

The rescue sheds light on safety issues and whether ships should have technology that detects when someone on the ship goes overboard. Maritime attorney Jim Walker told Florida Today that this accident enforces his belief that ships need motion sensors and thermal detection systems that would indicate if someone goes overboard.

Either way, the rescued man has to be thanking his lucky stars for his personal Disney miracle.
