Travel Tip: How You Can With Wave Season Cruise Deals
It’s wave season. So what does that mean for you?
The cruise lines are offering incentives for those who book cruises in the beginning of the year, even if you don’t travel for another several months.
Expedia has a wave season deal that gets you up to $500 in onboard credit if you book by February 28, and sail any time before the end of the year. The fine print is that you have to pay in full at least 21 days in advance, using a MasterCard.
Seabourne is offering reduced rates during wave season, and free upgrades from oceanview to balcony cabins. If you book a penthouse or premium suite on certain sailings, you’ll also get $1,000 in onboard credit.
MSC Cruises is offering perks like onboard credit, free drinks, and reduced deposits on select sailings if you book an inclusive package between now and February 15.
Norwegian Cruise Line is offering wave season deals on cruises five nights or longer, but watch out—these deals will only last until the end of January.
