Darth Vader is Invading Your Cruise Ship
If you can’t wait until December 2015 for the new Star Wars film to be released, Disney Cruise Line has a solution. Star Wars Day at Sea will transport guests to a galaxy far, far away (within the Western Caribbean) where adults and children will experience cosmic size fun.
Disney Cruise Line announced it would introduce Star Wars Day at Sea in early 2016.
Parents can enroll their children in a Jedi Training Academy where these young Padawans will learn from a Jedi Master how to use the force and swing a light saber. In order for these budding Jedi to pass their training, they will have to defeat Darth Vader himself.
There will also be deck parties complete with iconic characters, screenings of the films, fireworks and trivia games.
The daylong event of galactic proportions will take place on the Disney Fantasy excursions departing Jan. 9 and 23; Feb. 6 and 20; March 5 and 19; and April 2, 16 and 30 from Port Canaveral, Florida. Ports of call include Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Castaway Cay—Disney’s private island located in the Bahamas.
