Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner honeymoon in Cannes

Newlywed Geri Halliwell and her husband Christian Horner have been spotted enjpying their honeymoon in the busy French town of Cannes.

The star-studded nuptials took place in Woburn, Buckinghamshire, last Friday and Geri’s daughter Bluebell took on the role of flower girl.

The couple have since been seen strolling through the picturesque streets of the French town which is currently hosting the annual film festival.

The former Spice Girl was seen walking hand in hand with her 41-year-old Formula One boss husband.

Ginger Spice and her new hubby have been celebrating their honeymoon in the town with a barrage of selfies and snaps posted on Instagram and Twitter.

The film festival began last Wednesday and will run until this Sunday when the French Riviera town will return to its usual state of calm.

Among the celebrities who have been seen jetting into the French town have been British supermodel Cara Delevingne and Hollywood heartthrobs George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The festival initially started in the 1930s when the French Minister of National Education set up a cinematographic festival.
