Today I’d go … on a cruise to Greece

Every Thursday I write about a place I’d love to go.

Today, I’m thinking cruise.  So I decided to go on Norwegian’s website and start planning one, just for fun.

In my dream trip, I chose the 7-Day Greek Isles from Venice aboard the Norwegian Jade (because in my dream Greece is not undergoing political and economic turmoil).

The ports include Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, Olympia and Venice (Italy).

From the website:

Island hop your way through the romantic Greek Isles and explore the shimmering waterways around the Mediterranean. On this sailing, cruisers can traverse the canals of Venice in a gondola, hear the echoes of ancient Olympians in Katakolon and explore the caves of Paleokastritsa in Corfu. Onboard, nestle in your cabin for a nice nap or lounge poolside with a cocktail.

The website says the trip starts at just $619 a person, but I am too claustrophobic for inside staterooms, so just for fun (this is my fantasy, after all), I upgraded. A balcony room runs more than double, $1,659 a person. And the super luxurious Haven suite runs more than $5,000 a person.
