Fall Caribbean Resort Packages Extend the Summer Season

With fall’s arrival, many of the Caribbean’s top resorts are offering special packages designed to entice travelers to extend their summer season for just a few weeks more.

The packages are highlighted by discounted rates and premium amenities, facilities and services, and also allow savvy vacationers to avoid the summer crowds while squeezing in one last getaway before top-end holiday rates return.

Anguilla’s CuisinArt Golf Resort Spa is offering “Autumn Splash” packages featuring discounted seaview junior suites and beachfront junior suites plus daily Continental breakfast, complimentary tours of the resort’s hydroponic farm, Wi-Fi access and other amenities.

CuisinArt’s five restaurants utilize fresh ingredients from the hydroponic farm. Guests can also experience the resort’s regularly scheduled cooking classes and its 27,000-square-foot spa, featuring 16 treatment rooms. Packages are available for travel from November 1 to December 18.

The all-suite Landings St. Lucia resort is allowing guests to hold on to summer a bit longer with an “Incredible Tropical Suntan” package, discounted rates of up to 50 percent for luxury suite accommodations; daily breakfast at the Beach Club Restaurant; guided hikes in Pigeon Island National Park and Monde Du Cap plus complimentary butler service with ocean view or beachfront suites.

Under the offer, rates start at $353 per night. The deal is available for bookings made by December 15 for travel through April 30, 2016.

One Healthy Month

In St. Lucia November marks the start of the island’s annual Health Wellness Month, during which several top hotels and resorts offer wellness-themed activity packages that also feature discounts of up to 55 percent off published room rates.

The mountain-top resort Anse Chastenet is featuring a “Romantic Wellness Getaway” that offers guests who book seven nights or more one free night plus amenities including roundtrip airport transfers, all meals and beverages and one-hour Swedish massage. Weekly rates under the offer range from $6,594 to $7,206, double occupancy.  

Ladera, another St. Lucia mountain resort, is offering a “Wellness Package” featuring one free night and couples’ massage for travelers who book a four-night stay. The package is available to vacationers who book before November 30 for travel through December 25.

The Sugar Beach resort in St. Lucia’s Soufriere region is featuring a “Linger Longer 5 Wellness” package that offers one free night, daily breakfast for two and a massage at the resort’s Rainforest Spa for travelers who book five-night stays. Under the deal, average nightly rates start at $325 for a Sugar Mill Room. Travelers must book by November 30 for travel now through December 19.

The Coconut Bay Beach Resort Spa is offering a “Spacation” featuring daily treatments at the oceanfront Kai Mer Spa, personal training, fitness classes, watersports, hikes and ocean-view accommodations in the adults-only Harmony wing at all-inclusive rates starting at $229 per person, per night, representing a savings of 55 percent off published rates.  

Instant Bahamas Access

Several resorts on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas are teaming up to offer $250 in “instant” savings to travelers who book stays of four nights or longer by November 10 for travel through June 5, 2016.

The Instant Savings offer is available on air-inclusive packages at participating hotels including the Atlantis, Paradise Island; the Comfort Suites Paradise Island; The Cove Atlantis; the Graycliff Hotel; the Melia Nassau Beach Resort; the One Only Ocean Club; and the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort Offshore Island.

Meanwhile in St. Kitts, the Marriott Resort Royal Beach Casino is offering a “VIP Experience Package” for guests in the resort’s royal ocean view suite and presidential suite categories. The packages include arrival and departure service for two adults at the Yu Lounge in the St. Kitts Airport; luxury vehicle transportation from the airport to the Yu Lounge; expedited immigration and customs processing; express hotel check-in and daily breakfast at the hotel.

Travelers must book a minimum five-night stay to be eligible for the offer and fly into and out of Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport to utilize YU Lounge service. Package rates start at $418 per night.
