The best part of planning a wedding is planning the honeymoon. 

The romantic paradise escape is the light at the end of the tunnel for brides (and grooms) who are going out of their mind planning every detail down to what color rose petals will line the aisle.

The only hard thing about planning a honeymoon is picking a location and settling on a budget.

While it may feel like you’ll might spend well over $5,000 between the airfare, hotel, meals and activities, that’s not the case. A new study was recently released saying that the average cost of a honeymoon is $3,882, proving that you can have your (wedding) cake and eat it too. 

A lot of times travel websites will offer package deals for flights and hotels, which can help cut some of the cost.

Another way to save a few thousand is to book with an all-inclusive resort instead of paying for lodging, meals and entertainment separately.
