Royal Caribbean offers promotions for Tax Day

In a Tax Day promotion, Royal Caribbean International said that on cruises booked April 14 through 18, it will pay taxes, fees and port charges normally owed by the passenger.

The promotion also includes a buy one, get one 50% off the published fare feature. It applies to newly booked cruises of six nights or longer in the Caribbean and Bahamas and roundtrip Europe sailings departing from the Mediterranean between May 15 and March 31.

The promotion can be combined with other offers but bookings can’t be put into a group. Taxes, fees and port charges can add $100 to $150 per person to the cost of a typical cruise.
