Scenic partners with Trek Travel on biking cruises

Scenic has linked up with Trek Travel to offer two new bike and river cruise itineraries in 2017, one along the Danube River and another on the Rhine River.

Passengers who book the Trek Travel cruises onboard Scenic will stay in Diamond Deck staterooms and will have access to the standard Scenic inclusions, such as personal butler service, laundry concierge, unlimited beverages and in-suite minibar and 24-hour room service. They will also be able to ride either a Trek Domane 5.9 carbon road bike or a Trek FX hybrid, and will have daily route support, certified Trek Travel bicycling guides and additional shore excursions provided by Scenic and Trek Travel in every port. 

The eight-day Danube river cruise will sail between Nuremberg, Germany, and Budapest, on either the Scenic Amber or Jade. There will be five departures offered for 2017, priced from $6,499 per person. Daily rides will be between 15 and 60 miles  with up to 2,600 feet of climbing.

The eight-day Trek Travel Rhine river cruises will take place on either the Scenic Jewel or Opal and are priced from $6,599 per person, with two departures next year. Daily rides on that cruise will be between 20 and 50 miles with up to 3,000 feet of climbing.
