Couple Who Met on Airbnb Weds At Company HQ and Gets $5000 for Honeymoon

Two years ago, Ben Glass used Airbnb for a visit to Tel Aviv, Israel. He booked an apartment, but unfortunately, its owner, Noa, had forgotten to make it unavailable while she was vacationing in Brazil. After the failed transaction, Ben simply picked another Airbnb, but it wouldn’t be the last time he’d run in to Noa.

The two would eventually reconnect after the failed booking because Noa felt “horrible” about the mistake, according to SFGate, so she planned to meet Ben in a coffee shop before he went back home.

That’s when the magic started. Ben delayed his flight to San Francisco, and over the next two years, romance blossomed between the two. Now everything has culminated in a wedding held at the Atrium at 888 Brannan Street, the headquarters of the company that brought them together.

“We wanted a private marriage ceremony but in a place that would be meaningful to us. We loved the Airbnb atrium and headquarters. We had great help from the staff and one of the founders, Joe Gebbia,” the couple said.

According to Daily Mail, the event started out as private, but Airbnb employees couldn’t help it. They immediately came together to celebrate with the newlyweds.

And what comes after the wedding? The honeymoon, of course! Leave it to Airbnb, which gave the couple $5,000 worth of credits for their enjoyment.

It’s not every day when one finds “the one” in an online travel marketplace, so congratulations to Mr. and Ms. Glass!
