Honeymoon lost as travel firm fails
A newly married couple have turned to online fundraising to replace their honeymoon after they lost thousands of pounds when the holiday company they had booked it through went bust.
Georgina and Adam Read, who booked their all-inclusive honeymoon to Spain with the budget travel company Low Cost Holidays, said that they spent all of the £3,700 they received as wedding gifts on their trip.
Mrs Read’s sister set up an online fundraising page to help the couple, who said that they were “devastated”.
