Cruise sets sail in search of orcas

Major Marine Tours has added the Orca Quest tour to its itinerary this summer.

The tour is a four-hour cruise and is the only orca-focused cruise from Seward. Instead of following a set route, the cruise goes to where the whales have recently been sighted.

The new orca cruise is offered through mid-June and is one of many glacier and wildlife cruise options Major Marine Tours is offering in 2017.  Most of the cruises feature onboard National Park Ranger or National Forest Ranger narration, as well as a salmon and prime rib buffet.

Major Marine Tours also has made substantial upgrades to its waterfront Harbor 360 Hotel. Upgrades include the addition of five, pet-friendly rooms.
