Cruise news: Royal Caribbean restricts cancellation policy – will you have to pay more?
Royal Caribbean International is changing their cancellation policy, meaning passengers will have to pay more if they decide not to travel.
The cruise line is tightening their policy. Now, passengers looking to cancel could lose a larger portion of their fare.
The main change passengers need to be aware of is that the cancellation window, in which only the deposit was lost, has now gone.
Unlike the previous policy, passengers no longer have this window of security.
According to Cruise Critic, if a cruise of one to four nights in length is cancelled, the passenger will now be charged 50 per cent of the fee.
