Do you want to live under a rock until the election is over? See these rock abodes for rent

Nonstop political rants have nearly two-thirds of Americans wanting to cover their ears and hide under a rock 27 days before the election, according to the Pew Research Center’s yearlong Election News Pathways project.

For those exhausted by endless news reports, Hotels.com is offering a respite: Stay in a cave 50 feet underground in New Mexico from Nov. 2–7. The cost: $25 for five days, available on a first-come, first-served basis at Hotels.com/page/underarock starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.

The off-the-grid abode will allow you to cast your ballot early then hide in a cave where you can turn off talkative TV pundits and calls from nervous friends. When you emerge, the election results may or may not be clear.

“Political fatigue is real regardless of the year or election,” said Josh Belkin, vice president of Hotels.com in a news release. “We’re transforming an age-old idiom into a bookable experience, so individuals can relax, recharge and recover… because who knows what else 2020 has in store for us.”
