Local Question

When will San Francisco voters receive their ballots? (10/8/20)

Local Question

We live in 94133 ZIP Area.
Where is/are the SF Voting Center(s) drop-off Ballot Boxes?

Has the SF Voters ballots gone out in the mail? Haven’t received ours in 94133 ZIP Area yet! 🙌😒🙏

Hey, San Francisco Patch readers,

As ballots start to arrive in your mailbox, we want to know— how do YOU plan on casting your ballot? Will you mail back your ballot, take it to a vote center to drop off in-person or vote completely in-person on or before Election Day?

Share your thoughts on why!

And if you are wanting to vote in person, here is how and where you can do so in California — https://patch.com/california/across-ca/ca-2020-election-voting-person-what-know

Local Opinion

I am against the closure of Pacific Ave adjacent to the Presidio Wall Playground. Where do people park or drop off child gear if they are going to use the Playground?
The street is adjacent to the park. People can walk safely in the park itself right next to the street. The closure is doing nothing to provide safer walking. This is very different than making a safe street in a congested area.
Also the way it is barricaded and signed it certainly does not appear open to bicyclists or pedestrians.
Parking in the neighborhood is really tough. Street cleaning complicates the ability to utilize the park which is not easily accessed by public transportation.
Please reopen this street for parking if not for driving through.

Local Opinion

What is the point? Even waste more tax payer’s money. Could you clean up the city first? It is so dirty.
