‘Will a 2021 honeymoon be possible?’ | Travel

✉ We are getting married on December 20, 2021. We plan to go away for a “minimoon” the next day, returning on Christmas Eve. We’d like a direct flight from Bristol, if possible, to minimise travel time and want to stay somewhere Christmassy and magical. Would Lapland be too crowded at this time of year?

This is a lovely plan, but it’s difficult to say if you will be able to fly to Lapland from Bristol — at the moment there are no direct flights confirmed for next December. You’re not so far from Heathrow, however, which offers connections to Finnish Lapland via Helsinki. Steer well clear of the frazzled families heading for Santa Claus Village and stay at Apukka Resort
