Two more reopenings at Baha Mar

Two properties at Nassau’s Baha Mar resort, the Rosewood Baha Mar and SLS Baha Mar, are set to reopen March 4.

Their restarts follow the recent reopening of the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, along with the complex’s Baha Mar Casino, in mid-December.

Like the Grand Hyatt, both the Rosewood Baha Mar and SLS Baha Mar are providing on-site antigen and PCR tests.

All Baha Mar guests are currently required to take an antigen test upon arrival to the resort. Additionally, under Bahamian government protocols, all travelers to the Bahamas that stay five days or more must take a follow-up antigen test.

Baha Mar guests also have access to predeparture testing.

All antigen and PCR testing at the Rosewood Baha Mar will be complimentary.

Guests at the SLS Baha Mar will receive two complimentary antigen tests per room booked, while PCR tests will be available for $134 per person. Additional antigen tests will be available at the SLS Baha Mar for $16.80 each.

Concurrent with its reopening, the Rosewood Baha Mar also plans to unveil a culinary venue led by acclaimed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud. Showcasing traditional French cuisine, Cafe Boulud the Bahamas is an extension of the Cafe Boulud concept, which has existing outposts in New York; Palm Beach, Fla.; Toronto; and the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.

Cafe Boulud the Bahamas will be the fifth food and beverage outlet at the Rosewood Baha Mar, joining its Latin American-inspired restaurant Costa, seafood-centric eatery Tingum on the Sand, the Manor Bar cocktail bar and the Library, which serves Champagne, wine, afternoon tea and pastries and desserts.
