Celebrity is set to return to Australia and New Zealand

Celebrity Cruises will return to Australia and New Zealand for the 2022-23 season, with the Celebrity Eclipse offering 19 itineraries, including three themed sailings, a new offering for the line.  

From September 2022 through April 2023, the Eclipse will depart from both Sydney and Auckland offering five- to 18-day itineraries. The three themed sailings will focus on the region’s culture through onboard and shoreside programming. The themes, Sun and Beach Escapes, Food and Wine Classics and Five Star Getaways, will offer programming such as sleeping under the stars on a private pontoon above the Great Barrier Reef and an Australian food and wine itinerary to Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart.

The season will also feature overnights in Hobart, Cairns and Adelaide, Australia; longer stays in port with 8 p.m. departures from Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia; Christchurch, New Zealand; and Papeete, Tahiti; visiting Port Arthur, Tasmania, for the first time; and three South Pacific island itineraries that include Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
