Madonna's Concert in Kyiv

On 4 August Madonna will hit the stage of the Olympic Stadium. 53-year-old Queen of Pop music will give her long-awaited concert in Kiev. She will present to Ukrainian audience her twelfth album called MDNA the main single of which is called “Girl gone wild”. The music video for the song was shot in collaboration with the Ukrainian band KAZAKY. The set list for her concert in Kiev also includes such famous songs as Give me all Your Luvin’ , Like a Prayer, Express Yourself, Human Nature and Vogue.  

During her 30 years old music career Madonna has given hundreds of amazing concerts and won numerous awards. The show in Kiev is gonna be fantastic as well it is Madonna herself. She holds Seven Grammy Music awards and has sold more than 300 million records worldwide. Guiness World Records recognized her as the world’s top-selling female recording artist of all time.

She is an outstanding musician and personality. But besides music she has also appeared in several movies and even won a Golden Globe for Best Artist. Madonna is known for the ability to constantly change her image and style. She has always given critics topics for discussions of her personality and career. She didn’t follow the common formula of success in pop music all over the world: find a formula and stick to it whatever you do. She has always been experimenting with the image and music styles and she isn’t afraid of it even now. She is extremely talented as a songwriter, musician, dancer and even actress.

She is an extremely influential woman in the contemporary pop music. Time included her in the list of “25 Most Powerful Women of the Past Century”. In the year 2008 the World famous Billboard magazine put her name second in the list of “Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists”. The first one is the Beatles. Thus she is the most successful solo artist in the history of the chart. Four years after VH1 named her the greatest woman in the history of music.

Everyone who wants to visit the show in Kiev should book tickets in advance as there going to be a huge crowd of people and a lot of tickets are already sold. Be aware of that. The prices vary from 700 UAH to 13 000. If you are not from Kiev we advise you rather book a hotel in Kyiv beforehand.
