Rocky Mountaineer partners with Norwegian on cruise-rail vacations

Norwegian Cruise Line customers taking an Alaska cruise can now combine their voyage with a Rocky Mountaineer train trip.

The two companies have partnered to offer five rail-cruise vacations available through Rocky Mountaineer in 2014.

Customers can take a rail journey through the Pacific Northwest and the Canadian Rockies before or after their cruise, from Seattle or Vancouver.

“In our research, we have found that nearly half of all of our guests combine our rail journeys with an Alaskan cruise, and with this new agreement, both Rocky Mountaineer and Norwegian have come together to combine two dream vacations into one by both land and sea,” said Bob Nicholas, Rocky Mountaineer’s vice president of global sales.
