Chrissy Teigen is designing a sexy line of bridal swimwear just in time for her upcoming wedding and subsequent honeymoon with John Legend. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model says she can’t wait to show off the romantic pieces to her husband-to-be.

Teigen is collaborating with Beach Bunny to design a range of bridal bathing suits perfect for newlyweds honeymooning in resort locales. Teigen revealed the destination of her own post-wedding celebration after confirming previous hints that the couple were planning on visiting a tropical location. “We are returning to the Maldives during our honeymoon,” Teigen told People. “I want to wear a bathing suit for my husband that makes me feel sexy,” the model explained.

As a swimsuit model, Teigen certainly knows a thing or two about which bathing suits look best, which is what inspired her to collaborate with Beach Bunny. “I know other women feel the same way, so I was inspired to design a line,” Teigen said. Teigen’s swimsuit collection will feature pretty details perfect for blushing brides, including Swarovski crystals and Chantilly lace imported from France. “A bridal swimsuit is a very special and sexy look designed to make your man’s heart skip a beat,” the 27-year-old said.

Teigen certainly caused palpitations in the seductive swimsuits she modeled for the Beach Bunny campaign. The model flaunted her flawless physique for the photos, wearing a white two-piece with baby blue details and a pretty flower that rests on the hip. Teigen spared no detail in designing the bridal swimsuit line, even embellishing the bottoms with the word “bride,” so on-lookers would be reminded of the special occasion.

“While the swimwear had to be eye-popping as well as functional for honeymoon travel, it also needed to stand apart from other styles on the beach,” Legend’s fiancée explained. “So we added a little humor!” Teigen added, referring to the cute bride message. Yet, while Teigen knows how to have fun with bikini design, she is serious when it comes to her honeymoon plans, having already created an itinerary for her Maldives celebration.

“We are spending half of the time eating the great food that we love, and the other half basking in the sun on a tropical beach,” Teigen revealed. With ample time spent in the ocean, Teigen will have plenty of opportunity to show off her new bathing suit creations. But the Sports Illustrated model is looking forward to Legend’s reaction to the pieces the most. “John is a romantic, and I can’t wait to see his reaction to the swimwear!” the bride-to-be gushed.
