Wedding: Quadros — Woodward-Poor
Lebanon — Ashley Silveira Quadros and Cedric Woodward-Poor were married on June 24, 2013.
The wedding took place at Louland Falls in Parley’s Canyon, Utah. The bride was escorted by her parents in a ceremony that was presided over by Jason Stritter, an ordained minister with The Universal Life Church. The maid of honor was Eileen Silveira Quadros. Bridesmaids were Andrea Melo and Nikita Jordan. Danny Quadros was a bridal attendant. Jared Poor and Ian Poor served as best men.
The bride wore a custom silk dress that was handmade in Seattle, Wash. The gown featured a three-dimensional silk train that was a collage of the wedding colors.
A reception followed at Louland Falls, where guests were treated to a “naked” coconut wedding cake. The dessert, which was a gift from the bride’s co-worker, had no frosting and was filled with key-lime cream and fresh strawberries.
The bride is the daughter of Marly and Jose Quadros, of Florida and Terceira, Azores. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 2006 and earned a bachelor’s degree in health, society and policy from the University of Utah in 2012. She received a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Utah in 2015 and is employed as a massage therapist at Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah.
The bridegroom is the son of Jeanne and John Woodward-Poor, of Plainfield. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 2005 and is employed as a sushi chef at Sushi Blue in Park City.
The couple plan to travel in Thailand for their honeymoon. They make their home in Park City.
