Hyatt Place makes debut in Mexico and the Caribbean

Hyatt Place hotels have opened in Los Cabos and Puerto Rico.

The Hyatt Place San Jose del Cabo has is the first Hyatt Place hotel in Mexico.

The 157-room hotel is near the beach on the Sea of Cortes, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and San Jose del Cabo’s historic center and art district.

The Hyatt Place Bayamon near San Juan is the Hyatt Place brand’s first hotel in the Caribbean. Also, the opening marks the return of a Hyatt-branded hotel to Puerto Rico after a seven-year absence.

A second Hyatt Place is slated to open in 2014 in Manati, an hour’s drive west of San Juan.
