The Norwegian Getaway cruise is pure magic
Getaway starts its year-round Caribbean trips next month and, despite ports of call such as Philipsburg on St Maarten and Nassau in the Bahamas, passengers may never want to get off.
Its Aqua Park has five multi-deck water slides, two side-by-side twister slides, two drop slides, two pools and four hot tubs.
There is a multi-level ropes course, zip track, climbing wall, sports court and pirate-themed crazy golf as well as The Plank, a platform which juts out 8ft over the side of the ship.
Children can take part in circus school lessons and art projects, while babies and toddlers have their own nursery.
You can visit the Grammy Experience entertainment venue too which is full of showbiz artefacts and features performances by previous winners.
Cast your eyes overoutfits worn by The Jackson Five in the 1970s, a Rihanna costume that resembles a gem-encrusted Superwoman get-up and a shirt worn by Mike Love of The Beach Boys.
And a must for theatre fans is the hit musical Legally Blonde which will be performed in the getaway Theater four evenings a week.
There are plenty of places to eat from the main dining rooms to the Garden café buffet and specialities which include a steak and Japanese option.
There are also 15 bars, including the Ice Bar where vodka is served in iced goblets.
