Silver Discoverer embarks on inaugural cruise
Silversea Cruises said the first voyage of expedition ship Silver Discoverer departed from Broome, Australia, on a 10-day trip exploring the rugged Kimberley Coast region.
Kimberley is home to towering waterfalls, wildlife-rich wetlands, and aboriginal rock art painted over 20,000 years ago. The cruise ends in Darwin, following a visit to Indonesia’s Leti Island.
The newly named Silver Discoverer carries 128 passengers. Built in 1989, it previously sailed under the name Clipper Odyssey for Zegrahm Expeditions of Seattle.
