New flights to Mexico’s Pacific coast

New flights to Mexico’s Pacific coast

Beginning in December, travel agents will have new flight options for vacation packages to
three of Mexico’s Pacific coast resort destinations.

Delta Air Lines is introducing new nonstop service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Mazatlán,
Manzanillo and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. The seasonal flights begin Dec. 20. Delta is also offering
nonstop seasonal service from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Manzanillo Jan. 17, 2015.

The new flights support the upcoming holiday, winter and spring travel seasons. Mazatlán,
Manzanillo and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo are ideal destinations for romantic getaways, traditional and
multigenerational family vacations, girlfriend getaways and more.

Delta Vacations and Aeromexico Vacations offer travel agents and their clients 12 hotels and
resorts in Mazatlán; five in Manzanillo; and 12 in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. These accommodations
range from four- and five-star luxury resort spas to budget-friendly beachside hotels.

Along with these choices, travel agents can offer their clients several commissionable tours and
activities. Among these are a cultural tour of the town of La Noria near Mazatlán; visiting a blue
agave plantation outside of Manzanillo; and horseback riding in the hills above Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. Rentals can also be bundled with vacation packages in these destinations.
