Disney Launches Frozen Cruise Experience
Disney’s Frozen is on fire, and that flame isn’t burning out anytime soon.
Disney Cruise Line announced it will begin running special Frozen-themed activities on select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sailings to Europe and Alaska this summer. Norway-bound cruises will stop at Alesund, one of the inspirations for the film’s setting.
In a press release, Disney Cruise Line explained that one special morning aboard the cruise, guests will wake up to find the lobbies decked out in icicles and snowflakes—recreating Queen Elsa’s frozen palace. Olaf, Ana, Elsa and maybe even Sven will come aboard for one day to interact with guests. Ana will partake in the chocolate scavenger hunt, Elsa might set off a deep freeze and families can learn a Scandinavian dance together.
Have no fear, these cruises aren’t just for the children. When you don’t really feel like building a snowman, venture to the nightclubs and try one of the frozen specialty drinks.
