Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr are gushing over life as newlyweds!

While walking the red carpet at Sunday’s 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the lovebirds opened up about how “great” being married is.

“So far, so good, man. We’re like a week and a day in. We’re still at it so I guess that’s a good thing,” the 38-year-old country singer laughed while chatting exclusively with E! News.

Aldean and Kerr tied the knot last weekend during a romantic ceremony in Mexico. The husband and wife duo say not a ton has changed since they made it official.

“We were already living together and it kinda felt like we were married anyway,” he said. “We were kind of living the married life anyways so for us it was kind of just going through the formalities of it all. It was nice to do that and kind of make it official. It’s been a good week.”

As for honeymoon plans, the cute couple don’t have any big trips in the works. “We take a lot of vacations and get the chance to travel and do a lot of things,” he dished, adding, “The fact that we get to travel all over the world and do the things we do, life is kinda one big vacation. We take advantage of that.” “

“We were actually in Iowa last night,” Aldean continued. “My tour’s in full-effect. We’re actually gonna go to Florida next week and just kinda hang out for a few days and take it easy with some friends down there. Got Easter coming up so got some family coming into town for Eater. That’s really all that’s going on.”
