Hajj:

Hajj is a compulsory pilgrimage to Mecca for all adult Muslim atleast once in a life time who is physically and financially abled. l  Halq or Taqsir– this means cutting of the hair. Taqsir refers to partial shortening of the hair whereas halq is complete shave. Women cuts a little hair as part of this.

These rituals complete this pilgrimage and a pilgrim can choose to move out of ihram. Many people drink water of the wel of zamzam though this is not a part of it. Some sects use different methods to perform this. Chiefly, it is performed before, during and after the hajj and during the last ten days of Ramadan.
