P&O Cruises’ Britannia is star of new TV show Battlechefs

The celebrity chef and PO Cruises Food Hero will be judging the cookery skills of 10 celebrities, including musicians Alex James from Blur and Keith Duffy from Boyzone, plus actor John Partridge, who played Christian Clarke in EastEnders. 

The contestants will each get their turn of being head chef, cooking for the captain and his VIP guests while instructing the others in the kitchen. 

But while each tries to impress the captain with their new cooking skills, their competitors will also be able to score points – perhaps by helping, perhaps by hindering. 

Two competitions each featuring five “celebrity chefs” will be filmed during two Mediterranean cruises on Britannia. 

And each episode will feature the ports visited and stories about local food production and favourite dishes.
