Telegraph Cruise and Travel Show comes to Liverpool

More details have been revealed about a prestigious annual two-day cruise show being held at the new Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

The Telegraph Cruise Travel Show takes place on October 17-18 and brings together more than 50 top cruise and travel brands.

Visitors will be able to go beyond the brochure to get face-to-face advice, meet the experts and take advantage of show only deals, while learning more about the best cruise and travel experiences from across the globe.

It is one of the first events to be held at the waterfront centre, which opened earlier this month.

The show will include a Destinations Theatre, where travel experts and adventurous celebrities will share their passion, insider knowledge and tips, as well as giving an insight into the latest popular destinations, and some insider knowledge.

The Cruise Lines Theatre will be a chance to ask the experts and discover the large variety of cruise styles and what life is like onboard ship.

There is also a chance to take part in a special wine tasting masterclass, while Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) experts will be on hand to give free independent advice and guidance. CLIA works with all of major cruise lines, and is knowledgeable in all aspects of cruise holidays.

One-to-one sessions, lasting 30 minutes, will give visitors the chance to talk through important questions that are personal to them and their family to ensure they make the right cruise choice.

Finally, there is a Cunard Connections Walking Tour, where people can enjoy a Liverpool waterfront walk in the footsteps of the city-born shipping giant which has been celebrating its 175th anniversary this year.
