Cruise & Maritime Voyages adds ship

Cruise Maritime Voyages said it will add a 1,400-passenger
ship to its fleet when the former Pacific Princess becomes the Columbus in
June.

The Pacific Princess, which had been sailing for PO
Australia, originally sailed as the R3 for Renaissance Cruises. It was built in
1999.

Cruise Maritime Voyages said the Columbus will have
775 cabins (including 150 singles).

The ship received an extensive refit in 2015 and will
undergo an additional dry dock in April and early May before beginning a
northern European cruise schedule in June. The Columbus will be based at the
Port of Tilbury on the Thames river near London.

Cruise Maritime Voyages’ fleet is
comprised of the Marco Polo, Astor, Astoria and Magellan.
