Family Vacation Excitement

A desert safari tour in Dubai is a great adventure for a family to enjoy together. Our three boys are teenagers now so it is getting harder to find fun and exciting places to go on a vacation. However, this year, we decided to take them to Dubai. It is someplace that we have never been as a family. There are a lot of things to see and do for a family of four. The main activity that we are looking to participate in is a desert safari tour in Dubai.

We started our desert safari tour in Dubai at our hotel room. The four-wheel drive SUV picked us up and took us to the sand dunes. It was a lot of fun sliding through the sand. Once we got to our destination, the boys went sand boarding. I waited at the campsite where it was comfortable and inviting.

We had light refreshments before going for camel rides which was my favourite part. We all got to try Arabic coffee that was strong and delicious. While we had our snack we got to watch the sun setting. It was beautiful. Next we were entertained with a belly dance show, Tanoura Dance, and Henna painting. We were permitted to take photographs in traditional Arabic attire. After all of the excitement it was dinner time. The barbecue meal that we were served was delicious. The boys devoured their plates because they were very hungry after such an exciting and tiresome day.

The desert safari tour in Dubai took somewhere between six and seven hours. We started with a ride from our hotel room in the afternoon. We took a ride through the dunes and that is where the adventure began. I have never seen the boys so excited. They were laughing and joking with each other. They were really having a great time. As a parent it was lovely to see my whole family get along, no arguing or fussing with each other. The food was different from what we are accustomed to eating which only added to the experience. Getting to see the camels was nice but getting to go for a ride on them was an experience I will never get at home. Overall, the whole family had a great time.

The desert safari tour in Dubai was a family vacation like we have never had in the past. Going to Dubai and experiencing the exciting desert safari was a great way to spend quality family time before the boys all go off to college and we don’t get to see them. There was something for each of us to enjoy. We took photographs that we will have forever. The memory of the safari will be one that the boys take with them when they finally start families of their own.
