Launched TLSelecthotels.com, a consumer website to complement its agents’ counsel to clients interested in booking luxury hotels.
Nexion celebrated 20 years as host agency and announced plans to upgrade its entire technology platform. Nexion unveiled Corporate CoNexions for corporate agents.
Protravel International launched its new website at Protravelinc.com and introduced a customized website solution for corporate clients. Protravel opened a branch in San Diego specializing in adventure travel in Australia and New Zealand.
Created Elite Travel Division comprising Protravel and Tzell, each of which is retaining its own identity but enables the company to leverage nearly $4 billion in annual sales volume to the benefit of agents in each agency.
Travel Leaders Associates (franchise) formally launched to consumer media its Agent Profiler service to match individual travelers with agents.
It entered into exclusive partnership with the Adventure Travel Trade Association to offer Active Adventure Travel Specialist Certification. It also partnered with Honeymoonwishes.com and launched a honeymoon/destination wedding registry and a honeymoon/destination wedding specialist certification program. It unveiled TravelLeadersBusiness.com, enabling prospective corporate travel clients to search for a qualified travel management company by specific search criteria. In a related announcement, it also launched a new lead generation and client acquisition program, enabling associates to outsource their sales and marketing efforts to gain more business.
Travel Leaders Corporate launched Financial Solutions, offering to help corporate clients focus on opportunities that drive hard return on investment and cost savings.
Tzell Travel Group formally revealed an enhanced Tzell.com and launched its vacation website, VacationsbyTzell.com, along with its Agent Showcase online tool on Tzell.com to connect its agents with prospective clients.
Vacation.com officially relaunched a consumer website to help travelers easily find its member travel agents via Agent Snapshot. Vacation.com significantly enhanced CruisePRO booking system.
