CLIA’s Plan A Cruise Month Returns – Travel Market Report

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) will once again honor travel agents in October with its annual Plan a Cruise Month campaign.

The goal of the campaign is to generate awareness of cruise travel and honor the agents who help get clients onto sailings around the world.

“We want our entire travel agent community engaged with Plan a Cruise Month and have created tools to make it as easy as possible,” said CLIA senior vice president of strategic marketing and communications Lorri Christou.

During October, CLIA will offer its agents a toolkit with customizable social media posts and an email template, as well as Plan a Cruise Month deals and promotions.

CLIA is also urging agents to get involved on Twitter, using the #CruiseMonth hashtag. Those who do will be entered to win prizes such as inaugural cruises and gift cards.
