Could this be where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going on their honeymoon?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding is only a few weeks away, so it’s unsurprising that speculation about the couple’s honeymoon destination has reached a high.

According to new reports, Harry and Markle will keep their honeymoon as low-key and private as possible, but Travel and Leisure reports that they will head to Namibia for the special vacation.

A “source has confirmed” the location of the royal honeymoon, according to Travel and Leisure, revealing that the couple has chosen Namibia because the “southwestern African nation is filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”

According to The Sun, Prince Harry and Markle will likely be staying at Hoanib Valley Camp in Kaokoland, north-western Namibia, which is “surrounded by mountains, sand dunes, and huge expanses of desert”. The camp is apparently “the world’s only Africa-wide giraffe conservation organisation,” and the idyllic surroundings look like the perfect location for the royals to start their married life together.

The couple has already spent a lot time in southwest Africa. Early on in their relationship, Prince Harry invited Markle to Botswana, so that they could get to know each other away from prying eyes.

As Prince Harry revealed in the couple’s first TV interview following news of their engagement, “We camped out with each other, under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic.”

The royal explained that in Botswana, “we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to get to know each other.”
