Radisson grows Blu brand in the Caribbean

Radisson Hotel Group has opened the all-inclusive Radisson Blu Resort Residence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The beachfront property spans 164 suites, with select suites featuring full kitchens, in-unit laundry, balconies or a private whirlpool. 

In addition to 24-hour room service, guests have access to five restaurants offering a diverse mix of Caribbean, Italian and Asian-fusion cuisine as well as a juice bar, lobby bar, pool bar and a deli. A beachfront venue, the RBG Bar Grill, features live entertainment. 

Most islands have reopened to international tourism, with protocols in place to protect visitors and residents against Covid-19.

Other property amenities include an outdoor pool, a spa and hair salon and an indoor-outdoor fitness center.

According to Frances Gonzalez, Radisson Hotel Group’s vice president of operations for Latin America, the Punta Cana resort “sets the stage for the growth of the Radisson Blu brand in top destinations throughout the Caribbean.”

Radisson Hotel Group plans to open the new Radisson Blu Aruba in the first quarter of next year, with a Radisson Blu resort in Grenada also in the pipeline.
