Governor Ige approves Kaua’i “resort bubble” post-travel testing program

In the month since Kaua’i opted out of the state’s safe travel plan visitation to the Garden Isle took a big hit numbers this month are $28,000 less than last month.

In contrast the numbers are up by more than 30,000 on O’ahu, 22,000 on Maui, and more than 20,000 on the Big Island.

“On the island of Kaua’i we felt a little left out compared to the other islands,” Medairy said.
