Virgin Voyages is giving away 2021 cruises in 2021

Virgin Voyages will give away 2,021 cruises on the Scarlet Lady this year to unsung, everyday heroes who impact peoples’ lives in a meaningful way.

Virgin put out an open call for people to nominate a “personal hero” who has “inspired you, cared for you and helped you to navigate this past year,” for the vacation of a lifetime.

“No good deed is too small, and no individual is to be overlooked,” Virgin said. “Love and beauty exist in the eye of the beholder, including our unsung heroes, who have shown us that their embrace makes the world a better place.”

The giveaway kicks off on Valentine’s Day, which coincides with the one-year anniversary of the delivery of the brand’s first ship, the Scarlet Lady, when Virgin will start by giving away 1,000 vacations as the first part of a year-long campaign.

To enter, entrants must submit a short video about their nomination that demonstrates why that nominee should win a Virgin cruise. Submissions will be accepted through March 16.

The Scarlet Lady’s cruises are suspended until a May 9 departure from Miami. The Valiant Lady, the line’s second ship, is scheduled to launch from Miami on Nov. 14. Virgin said today that it will soon reveal the name and new itineraries for its third ship, which it referred to as Lady Ship 3.
