Caribbean travel update: The Cove at Atlantis reopens in the Bahamas

The Cove at Atlantis has resumed operations.

The 600-suite luxury property, which opened Feb. 11, joins The Reef, the Royal East Tower and Harborside Resort villas at Atlantis, which have already reopened.

To celebrate, guests at the Cove who book a minimum stay of four nights, for stays between Feb. 28 and Nov. 30, will receiveĀ  a complimentary first night.

The Ultra-Luxe Bahamian Getaway, in partnership with Advent Jets and Kamalame Cay, is also on offer. Groups of eight can fly by private jet from select U.S. cities to Nassau. Included in the five-night package, which starts at $150,000, is a reserved beach cabana, butler service, a tour with Bahamian artist in residence Antonius Roberts at his beachside art installation, an eight-course dinner at Michelin chef Jose Andres’ Fish restaurant with a customized menu, a sake experience at Nobu restaurant, and a seaplane flight to Kamalame Cay, a private oceanfront sanctuary.

Facilities at the Cove include an adults-only pool, beachfront dining at Sip Sip and indoor gaming at Sea Glass Lounge. Guests have access to Atlantis Aquaventure’s slides and pools, the Atlantis Casino, spa, golf, shopping and dining.

In May, the Cove will unveil new upgrades to its beachfront cabanas, 22nd-floor club lounge and the Nave Lobby.

Complimentary Covid-19 rapid antigen testing for up to two guests per room is available prior to departure from the resort.
