Pandemic shuts an Anguilla resort for a second time

Zemi Beach House in Anguilla, a member of Hilton’s LXR Hotels Resorts, has temporarily shut its doors through March.

The property had reopened in December following a shutdown since last spring due to the pandemic.

“After a difficult year, and reviewing the current state of travel to Anguilla and globally, we have decided to temporarily suspend operations at Zemi Beach House though March 31,” said general manager Paulo Paias.

Reservations will be accepted for stays beginning April 1 during the shutdown period, according to Paias.

Guests holding current reservations have the option to reschedule and travel at a later date in the year. If guests decide to cancel and have already made a deposit, the deposits will be fully refunded, Paias said.
