More resorts let people work remote from the Caribbean

Two more resorts have launched remote-work packages in order to meet the rising trend of digital nomads who want to work remotely for a few weeks.

The Silversands Grenada “Work from Home at Silversands” program is available to guests staying three or more weeks and is priced from $1,250 per night for a junior suite and from $2,500 per night for a private villa.

Included are roundtrip airport transfers, daily breakfast and lunch, tech support, laundry service, snacks, twice-weekly massages and three private workouts per week.

Guests staying four or more weeks receive admission to the resort’s new Aura membership program that offers discounts on spa services, food and beverage and access to invitation-only events at the 43-room resort.

Silversands opened in December 2018 and includes 43 suites and eight hillside and beachfront villas.

On Puerto Rico, the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf Beach Resort has introduced its Work or Study in Paradise program that includes up to 15% off the available room rate, daily breakfast, free WiFi and a 5 p.m. late checkout.

Rates start at $199 per room, per night, double.
