Curacao is the latest Caribbean island to welcome remote workers

Island governments and resorts from Bermuda to Aruba are offering extended-stay options for digital nomads who want to live and work in the Caribbean — now add Curacao to the list.

Nonresidents who want to live and work in Curacao for up to six months can apply for the country’s new Home Program.

Applicants must complete a digital application form, attach a copy of their passport photo page, provide proof of solvency, pay $254 and purchase international insurance that includes Covid-19 coverage.

Applicants need to comply with Covid-19 entry regulations, as well.

Meanwhile, on St. Vincent and the Grenadines, guests at the Mandarin Oriental Canouan can exchange their home office for an extended stay at the resort, which includes a $1,000 resort credit for every 30 nights, customized meal planning, watersports, use of bicycles, a personal golf cart, a 30% discount on dining, movie nights and high-speed WiFi throughout the grounds and the 39 villas and suites.
