Zambezi Cruise launches solar-powered sailings to Victoria Falls

The Zambezi Cruise Co. recently launched an ecofriendly cruising experience onboard the Zambezi Explorer, offering visitors the opportunity to explore Zambia’s Victoria Falls on a green Zambezi River cruise.

Built with the modern and ecofriendly traveler in mind, the Zambezi Explorer has minimal carbon emissions as all the onboard facilities run exclusively on solar energy.

With a capacity of 140 seats, the Zambezi Explorer is ideal for both leisure and corporate events. Experiences for travelers include predawn sunrise cruises, gourmet lunch cruises and sunset cruises on either the Luxury Deck or Signature Deck.

A two-hour sunset cruise on the Luxury Deck, which can accommodate 110 passengers, costs $55 per person, including beverages and a selection of canapes.

Travelers preferring the intimate luxury of the Signature Deck, which can only accommodate 30 passengers, will pay $90 per person for the two-hour sunset cruise. This rate includes a range of hors d’oeuvres and selected premium beverages.
