Carnival TV ads will tell viewers to call an agent
Carnival Cruise Lines said travel agents will be among those cited in a call to action in its fall television ad campaign.
Carnival said that 30-second ads will feature a call to action that asks viewers to consult a travel agent, visit Carnival.com or call a toll-free phone line.
The call to action will be added to e-mails and direct mailings “as well as other marketing pieces depending on space and creative direction.”
Carnival said 60-second TV commercials will close with a simple image and brand logo, rather than the specific calls to action.
The return to a call to action resulted from the Carnival Conversations program launched in July to improve travel agent relations, Carnival said.
