HGTV star to advise Royal Caribbean about Quantum design

Royal Caribbean International said it has created a celebrity panel that will advise it on various aspects of the shipboard experience on its new Quantum-class vessels.

The first adviser is interior designer Genevieve Gorder, who will provide input about interior designs aboard the Quantum of the Seas, due in November 2014, and Anthem of the Seas, due in April 2015.

Gorder is featured on HGTV, a cable channel about décor and home improvement.

Other celebrities will give advice on sports and fitness, entertainment and other amenities and activities.

Royal Caribbean plans to make a series of online videos documenting the advisers in action.
