Cruise Planners Names Two New Directors

Cruise Planners – American Express Travel reports that Caitlin Murphy has joined the company as Director of Public Relations and Danielle Spano has been promoted to Director of Marketing.
Murphy will manage the day-to-day public relations efforts for Cruise Planners and will be de dedicated full time to media relations, executive visibility, reputation management and franchise development in this newly-created role, the company said.

Murphy has previously worked at top PR and social media agencies executing strategic public relations and integrated social media and digital campaigns for consumer brands, in-house on a global team’s crisis management team and in various roles within the travel industry.
Danielle Spano was recently promoted to Director of Marketing, managing the marketing department focusing on the brand’s design, printed collateral, direct mail, and creative digital campaigns to promote the brand and its preferred suppliers.
Spano’s industry experience spans both travel agent and consumer marketing, having worked for cruise lines such as Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Voyages to Antiquity.

As with all Cruise Planners’ Home Office team members, both Murphy and Spano will be an internal resource for the more than 800 Cruise Planners franchisees through the business development team.
